1. What is your prepaid freight policy?

In-Stock Orders

48 Contiguous States - Freight is prepaid for standard ground shipping on orders that exceed $350.00 shipping from the Dealer Services warehouse (Council Bluffs, Iowa 51501).

Alaska and Hawaii - Freight is prepaid to the nearest port city for standard ground shipping on orders that exceed $350.00 shipping from the Dealer Services warehouse (Council Bluffs, Iowa 51501). Dealership will be billed the entire amount for freight then Dealer Services will issue a credit for the cost of shipping from the Dealer Services warehouse to the nearest port city. (Hawaii – Still being determined, Alaska – Auburn, WA). Freight is prepaid for standard ground shipping on orders shipping from Iowa to Alaska that exceed $1000.00.

If your order does not meet the $350.00 freight prepaid amount the dealership is responsible for all freight charges. Freight charges are based on the method of shipping, weight of the order and location the order is shipping to.

Custom/Drop Ship Orders

Products that are special order/drop ship (stated on the website) DO NOT qualify for prepaid freight. Freight will be billed at the time of invoicing.

2. What are the cutoff times for ordering?

Web Orders - Cutoff time is 3:30pm CST. Orders that are placed after 3:30pm CST will be submitted to Dealer Services Headquarters the next business day.

Phone/Email/Faxed Orders – Cutoff time is 5:00pm CST. Orders that are submitted after 5:00pm CST will be entered the next business day.

3. Is there a minimum quantity or dollar amount that I have to order?

Some items may have to be ordered in a specific minimum or multiple quantities, as noted on the website. Otherwise, you can order any quantity or dollar amount you wish, however, freight charges will apply.

4. When will I receive my order?

In-Stock Orders - In-stock orders placed on the web prior to 3:30 CST or in-stock orders called/faxed/emailed into Dealer Services Headquarters prior to 5:00 CST. Orders will be picked, packed and shipped the next business day. Shipping will be via standard ground shipping and will deliver in 2-5 business days from the ship date depending on your location in the US.

 

 

Drop Ship Orders - Drop Ship orders are usually processed and shipped within 5-7 business days from the date of order. However, some product may take 2-3 weeks (ex. Car Covers, Front End Masks, Dashcovers, Aero Kits). Shipping will be via standard ground shipping and will deliver in 2-5 business days from the ship date depending on your location in the US.

 

Custom Dealer Imprinted Orders - Custom Dealer Imprinted orders can take up to 4 weeks from the date of order. Standard production time is usually 10 days after proof approval. Delays in this standard may occur if product is out of stock or if proofs are not returned in a reasonable amount of time. Shipping will be via standard ground shipping and will deliver in 2-5 business days from the ship date depending on your location in the US.

5. How can I get my order faster?

Orders can be shipped 1,2 or 3 day air upon your request. Additional freight charges will be added for expedited shipping. The only way to ensure your orders gets expedited shipping is to contact your Dealer Services Specialist at 1-800-493-0546 to place your order and request expedited shipping.

6. What will my freight charges be?

Dealer Services can only provide freight cost estimates on orders. These are only estimates as freight charges vary based on the method of shipping, the weight of the order and the where the order is shipping to. If you have received your order and want to obtain freight charges please contact your Dealer Services Specialist at 1-800-493-0546 for assistance.

7. How will I be billed for Dealer Source purchases?

Purchases will be billed in the same way orders are processed over the TDN/Dealer Daily system. You will be billed on your Monthly Parts Statement after the order has shipped.

8. Can I have Dealer Source Product shipped directly to my customer?

Yes, please contact your Dealer Services Specialist 1-800-493-0546 for additional information if you would like an item shipped directly to your customer.

9. an Dealer Source Products be included in new vehicle financing?

Yes, TFS general policy is to allow add-on’s as long as the customer's credit rating can support the cost.

10. What is your back order policy?

If a product is out of stock it will be shown as “0” or “none” on your packing list. Dealer Services will make every effort to ship all orders complete. In the event this is not possible, if the total of the backordered product meets or exceeds $30.00 a backorder will be automatically entered and product shipped when available. If the total of the backorder is under $30.00 the dealership is responsible for re-ordering the product.
